Mom won't let me post her pretty face, but this is how happy I am in the hills with my mom! She's so awesome!

Trails

I LOVE TRAIL RUNNING. Seriously, it's like the best thing ever. I get to run without being on leash. I can stop and smell things. I can pee as many times as I want. I get to sprint super fast which is awesome. I don't understand why we ever run on the roads. It's so boring and tiring running at the same pace all the time. I'm all about the sniff and sprint. I can even deal with it when mom makes me sit so she can take my picture. 

I didn't say I look at the camera. 

We've Moved

Mom and I have been living in a beautiful house, in a quiet neighborhood, with a fenced yard, near and awesome park. Silly mom decided she wanted to be closer to town, so she sold our house and made me move. 

I don't have a fenced yard anymore so I'm not allowed to hang out outside by myself anymore cause mom doesn't want me to get kidnapped or anything. She knows everyone wishes I was their dog. 

We go to the dog park now, which is kind of cool. Mom says I'm working on my doggie manners. I bark when I want people to play. It seems like most dogs don't want to play with me no matter how much I bark in their far. It's ok, the people pet me and I like that. 

The other awesome thing is that mom comes home in the middle of the day to visit me. It's sad though, because that means I have to watch her leave twice every day. I still cry sometimes. 

Mom's Been Slackin'

Hey Everyone,

So, I know I haven't posted in a while. It's all mom's fault. I'm not so good at typing, you see, so she has to help me out. She says life has just been too hectic, but I don't think that's fair. I mean, I'm sure you all love reading about my adventures and seeing all my fun pictures. She says we'll work on it and try to do better. I promise I'll remind her. She can be a little forgetful sometimes. Maybe she's getting old..... Anyway, a lot has happened since I last posted, so you can look forward to some exciting news!

Work

I know everyone always complains about work, I don't know why though. Mom knows I don't like it when she leaves me, I want to be with her all the time. Anyway, she's been letting me come to work with her! It's awesome; I get to be with her all day. Sometimes we go outside so I can go potty and run around.

Sometimes I just lay on my blanket by her desk. 

She says she likes having me there too so she can hug me any time she wants. Some of her coworkers really like me to. They come visit me at mom's desk a lot. Sometimes I wander around the building and visit them too. 

The Monkey

Mom got me a monkey for Valentine's Day. 

I chewed on his leg.

A fight ensued.

It got a little messy.

My paws are clean.... 

Rollin' Around

I love to roll around.  It just feels so amazing to throw myself on the ground and thrash around. In the summer, fresh cut grass is the best place. Really any grass will do, but it's better if it was just mowed.  The very best is when there are a ton of grass clippings and they all stick to me. Then mom says I'm a mess and she won't let me inside until after she brushes me off. This time of year there isn't any good grass to roll in. I have to settle for carpet. Mom loves to take pictures of me. She likes the way the floppy skin on my face looks and how my ears flop around. She thinks it's really funny.  I think it's super fun!
