Quilting is stupid
Mom was working on a new quilt for our bed yesterday. I don't exactly know what a quilt is, but it sounded like fun. Turns out, it's not! Fleece is my favorite! I love fleece. It's super cozy to snuggle into. It's soft in my mouth. It keeps me warm at night. Mom has lots of fleece around because she's always cold, and the cat and I love it too. Anyway, she layed this big piece of fleece out on the living room floor, so I obviously thought it was there for me to lay on. Apparently not. Mom kept making me move so she could cut it into smaller pieces. What the heck is the point of that? Those pieces are too small to lay under. I don't understand what she was thinking. First she cut it into long strips, then into squares. What does anyone want a bunch of squares of fleece for? After she cut the fabric into pieces, she started pinning them and sewing them back together. Ya, she cut it into pieces, then started to put it back together. Mom must be crazy. It was perfectly snuggly, and soft, and wonderful to begin with. I don't know what she is up to. The worst part is that she wasn't even snuggling with me. She was home most of the day, and was distracted cutting and sewing, silliest thing ever. I guess I don't like quilting much. I want to snuggle under the soft fleece with mom, and skip all the pointlessness of cutting it up and putting it back together. It's not even anywhere close to done yet; it's going to take forever. So much for quilting being fun. Silly mom.
